First date! John and Gretchen walked around Sloan Lake. Kate made a cameo. Gretchen was impressed by John's ability to walk quickly, keep good conversation, and did not get grossed out picking up dog poop. She said no to ice cream to make sure they didn't have too much fun, causing her to misremember if he was great or if that was just the ice cream.

Gretchen and John take the boys on their first camping trip together to make sure their weighted packs were comfortable for 22 miles of the Colorado trail. The countdown to the Wonderland trail is on!

John and Gretchen attend their first wedding together! (thank you Anna and Chris for allowing some girl you haven't met to attend your most important day!)

Gretchen and John had Tom and Maggie in town to hike and visit the Christkindl market after Rocky Mountain National Park proved too windy and treacherous (sorry I suggested walking on thin ice, Maggie!)

Gus and Leo adjust nicely to becoming roommates after the bathroom renovation unexpectedly moves up the official move-in-together date.

John showed Gretchen one of his favorite things to do - run a spartan race! Gretchen did not approve of the cacti or slippery obstacles, but John made sure she was safe and still crossed the line smiling together at the end.

Gretchen and John navigate France and Switzerland together in a mini cooper. They only had to hike one mountain to get to a hotel when they missed the last train.
